1. Purpose

We value honest customer feedback. Customer feedback helps us constantly review and improve our customer offerings. This Ratings & Reviews Policy is up-to-date as of May 2026, and explains how we collect, moderate, and display customer reviews, star ratings, and customer-submitted images to ensure transparency, fairness, and authenticity. By submitting a product review, you agree to this Policy and also acknowledge that we may remove or refuse to publish any reviews which are not compliant with this Policy. We do not allow automated, bulk, or anonymous submissions.

2. Who Can Leave a Review

If you decide to leave a product review, you must ensure that the review:

• Is submitted by customers who have purchased or used the product.
• Is in comprehensible language
• Is directly related to the reviewed product
• Does not contain language that could be deemed as hurtful, abusive or defamatory
• Does not contain any person or other identifying information

We may invite verified purchasers via email after purchase if you have chosen to subscribe to receive marketing.

3. Personal Information

By submitting a product review, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which applies to any personal information we collect, share and store when we accept and publish a review. We will never publish full names or contact details. First name and last initial may be displayed (e.g., Nicola C.). Images must not contain identifiable personal data without consent.

4. Incentivised Reviews

We may occasionally offer incentives such as loyalty points, discount codes, or samples in exchange for feedback and where this has been offered, such information will be disclosed (ie. “Incentivised Review”). Incentives never influence rating or sentiment

5. Intellectual Property

When you submit a product review, you give the Inskin Cosmedics Group full ownership of the intellectual property rights in that review, including copyright.

6. Liability

We’re not responsible for the content of reviews written by customers and displayed on our website, to the extent permitted by law. By submitting a review, you agree to take responsibility for what you write and to cover any reasonable costs or claims we may incur if your review breaches this Policy or the law.

7. No Endorsement

Reviews published are the opinions of the individual customers who wrote them. They do not necessarily reflect our views or recommendations, and we don’t officially endorse the content of customer reviews. Customer reviews and images reflect individual experiences. Skincare results vary depending on skin type, usage consistency, and lifestyle factors. Reviews and imagery do not constitute medical or dermatological advice.

8. Moderation & Approval Process

All reviews are moderated before publication to ensure they meet our standards. We do not edit reviews. We may reject or remove reviews that:

• Contain abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language
• Include personal contact details
• Promote other brands or links
• Are unrelated to the product
• Appear fraudulent, duplicated, or automated
• Contain medical or therapeutic claims that cannot legally be published
• Include inappropriate imagery

9. Average Approval Timeframe

Reviews are typically approved or rejected within 5 business days. During peak periods this may take slightly longer. Approved reviews appear in chronological order unless sorted by the user.

10. Health & Skin Claims

Because skincare products interact differently with each individual, we may remove or redact medical claims such as “cures acne,” “heals eczema,” or “replaces prescription medication.” Personal experience statements such as “reduced redness for me” are allowed. We may add disclaimers where necessary. Reviews do not constitute medical advice.

11. Skin Type Filters

To improve transparency and relevance, reviewers may be invited to select their skin type and/or skin concern when submitting feedback. We do not guarantee accuracy of self-reported skin types.

12. Before & After Image Rules

We welcome customer submitted images, including before and after photos, provided they follow these guidelines. We may remove images that could be considered misleading or non-compliant with advertising standards. Where before/after imagery is published, we may include a disclaimer such as “Individual results may vary.”

What is allowed

• Clear, unedited images of personal product results
• Consistent lighting and angle where possible
• Realistic representation of usage over time

What is not allowed

• Filters, heavy editing, or altered skin textures
• Misleading comparisons or stock imagery
• Nudity or explicit content
• Images containing third-party logos or branding
• Medical or exaggerated claims embedded in images

13. Authenticity & Fraud Prevention

We take reasonable steps to ensure reviews are genuine, including:

• Purchase verification where available
• Automated spam detection
• Manual moderation checks
• Removal of suspicious or duplicate content

We do not knowingly publish fake or paid reviews.

14. Display of Ratings

Star ratings reflect the average of approved customer reviews. We do not selectively hide negative reviews that comply with policy. Reviews may be sorted by date, rating, helpfulness, or skin type.

15. Editing & Removal Rights

We reserve the right to:

• Remove reviews that breach this policy
• Correct minor spelling or grammar errors without altering sentiment
• Redact legally risky medical or therapeutic claims

We do not rewrite opinions or adjust star ratings.
